not very clever.
Added by FastenTrees cannot make decisions or plans and thus have to try everything (grow in all directions). Only the sun brings trees to prefer a direction. Trees consume a lot of water und always want to watch faraway scenes, which is why they become so large.

Don't be a tree
Edit

Added by FastenIf you don't want to be a tree you have to think before you do something. This means you have to make plans and you have to make decisions. If you made a decision you should retain the decision, unless there is a good reason to change it.
The philosopher Harry Frankfurt sees it as a measure for the free will of a person in how far one follows higher-order volitions. To make plans includes making and observing rules and planning also means time management.
Trees are decision trees, which means that they don't use decision trees the way they should be used.
