Hi folks; have a look at this other ooblek site; I found Elemrs Glue all by the gallon, and acording to these folks it works as well as the School glue.Dmccabe 13:12, 5 March 2007 (UTC) This one was popular with the students; I think with more time available in a typical classroom, the link to solids/liquids could be more fully made. But having a material that bounces and also flows is very interesting. I also learned that the material picks up some inks from plastic bags. Well, if it is useful for difussion it is very very slow. This may have advantages for long-term work; not sort short attention spans. I'm testing it with food colorings over the weekend to see just how slow it is. It may simply bind the colors in which case there will be zero diffussion (could explain why it does not seem to shed color on bench tops)Dmccabe 17:44, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
